In a house from 1983 designed by Lut Prims, several targeted interventions are carried out. Among others, the back façade and the bathroom are being renovated.

With respect for the architecture of Lut Prims – who taught Sarah Poot during her first bachelor year – these two parts of the building are transformed. Characteristic of the house are the six concrete porticoes on each level and the inverted concrete load-bearing structure.

The arches of the porticoes are incorporated into the design of the new bathroom. In the rear façade, the square window divisions from the original condition are reintroduced. We build further on what was already there: in the same language, but with our own accent.
